THE LITTLE SCRAPBOOK STORE BINDING OPTIONS

Below is a brief comparison on the differences between Post, Ribbon, Spiral and 3-Ring bindings.	ORDER SCRAPBOOK ►
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: (July 24, 2004) The Little Scrapbook Store is a one woman operation and I am currently swamped with orders. Orders placed for handmade items will currently have a 12 week wait time and shipments will begin the week of October 8, 2004. NOTE: Changes to Ribbon-Bound option (July 24, 2004) All ribbon-bound albums and scrapbooks now require a hard spine and will incur an additional $10.00 charge. The difference between bindings 3-Ring and Spiral binding is an alternative binding method to post-bound and ribbon-bound. These bindings allow your Scrapbook to lay flat. POST BOUND
Strong easy-to-use posts: Extra panel conceals posts: Easily Expandable - can easily add more pages, or remove excess pages Decorative spine cover:
RIBBON BINDING
Strong, decorative ribbon for durability: Decorative spine cover: A hard spine is used (pictured above on the right) on all ribbon-bound scrapbooks to prevent wobbling Not easily Expandable - ribbon is bound through the post-holes in the page protectors making it difficult to add or remove pages Recommended for "Theme" Scrapbooks where you know the number of pages you would like to use and would like the ribbon to give a little more elegance to the Scrapbook.
SPIRAL BINDING
Strong, but lightweight plastic spiral binding through page protectors or paper pages Decorative spine cover hides the spiral so your Scrapbook looks great on your shelf Scrapbook lays completely flat Not easily Expandable - the spiral is bound through the page protector's binding edge making it difficult to add or remove pages. Recommended for "Theme" Scrapbooks where you know the number of pages you would like to use
3-RING BINDING
Strong, durable ring-binding hardware: allows Scrapbook to lie flat when viewed Hard spine cover: Easily Expandable - can easily add more pages, or remove excess pages Recommended for "Theme" Scrapbooks, writing journals, calendars, notebooks, photo Scrapbooks and scrapbooks
MAKE IT A GATE

Any size album can be made into a wonderful gate-fold album. Includes closure.

Our Scrapbooks are constructed from materials obtained from companies claiming acid-free/archival safe materials.

THE PAPERS and page protectors used are all from reputable companies (ClubScrap; K&Co.; Bazzill; Close To My Heart; C-Line) that claim acid-free/archivally safe materials.
THE ADHESIVE used is bookbinders' PVA. The bookboard is Davey Red Label Binder's board.
ALL OTHER MATERIALS (tape, etc.) are all from companies dealing with archival safe products and all products used state that they are safe.

We make our best efforts to use only the best products for you.

All Scrapbooks and Photo Albums Include:

Cover created from your choice of high quality patterned paper or fabric
Padding is included on fabric covered scrapbooks and photo albums.
Choice of post-binding, binding with high quality ribbon or Spiral bound.

10 high quality clear page protectors.
10 sheets of appropriate sized cardstock in your choice of white, cream or black.
Coordinated covered spine.

All Journals Include:

Cover created from high quality patterned paper.

Choice of stitched or Spiral bound.

Inside cover coordinating lining.

Pages are acid free, solid cardstock.

Coordinating fiber (primarily from Fibers By The Yard).
